Big Boys

It is official, we no longer have babies. We now have boys -- practically little men. They are too long to fit into their side-car, or their size 1 diapers and at 14.5 and 15.5 lbs respectively, we are lucky they don't just drive themselves to college each morning. Observe our progress:

Gabe can eat all on his own. :-) There is some clean-up though...

Daddy likes to decorate E with Devil Horns...

They boys are pulling themselves up on things... This photo is a sign that it may be time to lower the crib mattress.

Mr. Mom

With Kathy off to an all-day job interview, I got to work from home and watch the boys yesterday. I was a bit aprehensive since I haven't watched them myself for that long before. But everything went great - we had so much fun!

We practiced our sitting:

We had a little avacado for breakfast. When Dad feeds the boys, things tend to get a little messy.

We had frequent drinks from our sippy cups to keep everyone happy. My solution to fussy babies: Feed them!

Here's E practicing his tummy time: Gabe was SOOO smiley all day:
All in all, it was a great day at home with the boys.

Great-Grandbaby Tour 2008!

The Great Grandbaby Tour of 2008 swung through Cool, California in February. Kathy's grandparents flew in from Florida (and suffered through something like 9 hours of flight delays!), Kathy's Aunt Diana flew in from Chicago via Florida, and Kathy's Mom flew in from Texas (with a few hours of flight delays too). Apparently the same terrible storm that set off tornadoes in Florida and Alabama was responsible for both sets of delays. But nothing could stop the Great Grandbaby Tour!
Here's Great-Grandpa with Gabe and Great-Grandma with Elias:

Four generations of Hauns, Meltons, and Goddards:

Great Aunt Diana enjoying the boys. They are getting to be quite the handful!

Great-Grandma's sister also lives in the Sacramento area and had a chance to visit and see the boys too:

The whirwind tour then headed out to Denver, Colorado to see the newest (well he was the newest at the time!) great-grandbaby, Luke! Check out Luke's blog here: lukelezama.blogspot.com.
